What is this?

Dual Use Venture Services, LLC, (DUVS) is focused on emerging technology making it to the warfighter. Founded by veterans, we work to make sure the transition from commercial focus to defense isn't insurmountable. Built from experience in the Pentagon, program offices, Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) and AFWERX, we have experience in engineering, program management, acquisitions, and as combatants in both conventional and special operations.

We work with both large and small businesses. For large organizations, we help tailor strategies for winning sustainable awards and navigating the bureaucracy of the Department of Defense to maintain revenue flows that benefit shareholders and warfighters alike. For small businesses, we help develop market plans for near term, long term, and sustainable efforts, while helping venture capital work smarter for the long wait times for government contracting, whether it be a small business with established revenue streams branching into the Defense space or a pre-revenue startup exploring the use of government programs like the small business innovation & research as a pathway to funding.
